City of Sandy Springs is continuing to work on improving pedestrian facilities on Roswell road. This project provided infrastructure and beautification on Roswell Road between Cliftwood Drive and Hammond Drive. The project consisted in the installation of 9 ft wide sidewalks with a 2 ft wide brick paver band. Set backs, street trees, landscaping, pedestrian scaled street lights along with improved safety and accessibility were addressed. City residents now have better means of access to walk to shopping centers and other public spaces in the area.
