The 285/400 improvement project is designed to help reduce traffic congestion and enhance safety in the area near the I-285/SR 400 interchange in metro Atlanta. P2K installed storm drainage systems with reinforced concrete pipes ranging from 18” to 48” and associated drainage structures along the new lanes and shoulder areas on GA 400 north and southbound. The project improved 6.2 miles along SR 400 from the 285 to Spalding Drive. We installed precast box culverts ranging from 6 ft x 6 ft to double 10 ft by 10 ft. All this work was done while maintaining the traffic on the highway and roads.
