This project aims to perform the road reconditioning of three National Forest Service Roads (NFSR) within the Cherokee Forest in Tennessee. The NFSR 207 will be renovated by replacing the aggregate surface course, improving the road’s comfort and safety. On the NFSR 209, the drainage system will enhance the protection of the substructure from erosion. With these improvements, the owner intends to protect the load-bearing capacity and stability of the road. Finally, the elevation of the NFSR 209C will be brought up by two feet to save the road from the flooding produced by the French Broad River.
