As an initiative of the Georgia Department of Transportation to release a series of projects on the I-985 Northbound from Mile Marker 5 to Mile Marker 24 to repair the existing concrete slabs that are considered damaged or broken and are not adequately performing with the actual traffic demand, the projects consisted of removing the damaged slab and pour it back in the same shift to be used 5 hours later and to do so; the operation was developed at nights. We used a high early strength concrete to minimize the impact on traffic.
