The project included streetscape enhancements along US 29 in Fairburn downtown. Improvements included a vegetated median, expansion of pedestrian facilities, new granite header curbs, brick paver sidewalks, street trees, raised planter beds, & new pedestrian street lighting and signal upgrades. The east side of US 29 will include a brick paver sidewalk, grass buffer strip, new street landscaping, and the former Smith Street’s rehabilitation underpass into a pedestrian walkway & plaza space
