Carlos Sánchez, President and co-founder of Precision 2000, Inc. (P2K), hails from Colombia, where he cultivated his passion for civil engineering. Holding a degree from the Colombian School of Engineering and a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Carlos brings over 25 years of progressive experience in the Construction Industry to his role.
With a keen focus on scheduling and budgeting control, Carlos excels as a project manager, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and consistently delivering projects ahead of schedule. His expertise spans heavy construction projects and encompasses extensive experience in airfield operations. As the driving force behind the company’s operations, Carlos oversees all facets of management, guaranteeing the seamless execution, timely completion, and successful delivery of projects. Additionally, he leads the estimating department, guiding the preparation of proposals and navigating the bidding and negotiation processes.
In addition to his responsibilities at P2K, Carlos currently serves as a Board Member for the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, further demonstrating his commitment to fostering economic growth and development within the community.
Carlos’s exceptional contributions have earned him recognition, including the Outstanding Performance Award for his invaluable contributions to the Construction Management team of Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport from August 1997 to May 2000.
