The project focused on protecting and restoring an unnamed tributary of the Chattahoochee River within Jones Bridge Park. Stream work encompassed 440 linear feet of channel excavation and construction, incorporating instream structures such as cross vanes, riffles, and log grade controls. Additional features included a cast-in-place headwall, stilling basin, cascade, and a graded swale with stone check dams. The area now features a bioretention area with underdrain, pedestrian access to the stream, and rustic gathering spaces for community enjoyment of this beautiful park along the Chattahoochee River.
