Peachtree Corridor Pase III

The project consists of renovating a section of Peachtree Rd. between Shadowlawn Ave. and Maple Drive. New asphalt, Sidewalks, medians, lighting, and landscaping are part of this project. The project includes constructing a typical section with three lanes in each direction consisting of 10-ft inside and outside lanes, 11-ft center lanes divided by a 19-ft raised landscape median (including turn lanes), 5-ft bike lanes, a header curb, 14-17-ft shoulder comprised of a 6-ft landscape strip and 8 to 11ft wide sidewalks. The connectivity project is to be implemented along Peachtree Rd. from Shadowlawn Avenue to Maple Drive. The project will improve connectivity to existing bus stops and the Buckhead MARTA station.
