Project Description

As an initiative of the Georgia Department of Transportation, it was decided to release a series of projects on I-20 East and West bound from Mile Marker 59 to 65 in order to repair the existing slabs that are considered damaged or broken and are not properly performing with the actual traffic demand. This project consist of filling cracks and spalls with Fibercrete. This is a hot applied patching material that is gray in color consisting of a combination of binder, polymers, graded fillers, aggregates, fibers, and rubber that once heated provides an impermeable, voidless solid mass at ambient temperatures.
